Does anyone know about this? Globers insist that if you compress a photo of the flat horizon and because it creates the impression of a 'curve' as shown in the images below this somehow 'proves' the earth is curved. Is this just stupid or is there any scientific proof of this? Is there something I'm missing?
Is the curve increasing as the height increase, in the pictures? Doesn't seem so by looking.
Compression leads to distortion. This makes no sense to me. One picture looks like what I see with my eyes, the other is all blurry. Which one is more real?
Aaaand, we can still see too far. Like, around 1000 miles too far.
