He didn’t debunk anything. If you want to start “debunking,” get the earth curvature calculator out and go do some tests with long distance equipment: lasers, powerful cameras, Levels, etc. Furthermore, as long as we are taking relgious stances, then we aren’t going to debunk shit. Unless somebody can completely explain the upside down metaphysics of their blindly believed in Bibles, then how are they going to be objective about anything?
I may be in the minority, certainly on this platform since I’m not convinced we can say for certain what the shape of the earth is. But I enjoyed this video. I watched the 4 hour video all the way through. Yes, it’s an echo chamber and I would certainly enjoy this as a well moderated conversation with two flat earth/Biblical cosmology representatives added to the panel.
With that said, that’s not what this was and I think they did a good job of presenting what they believe. I don’t care for the attitude and demeanor of laughing at or assuming as stupid, people who question the shape of the earth. That’s uncalled for. But overall I enjoyed this.
As a side note, if any of you have not listened to episode 155 of the Flat Earth Podcast, please go listen. I’ve listened to every episode and this was by far the best I’ve heard. Unreal.
I don't think you are in a minority Seraphim Jim. I think many of us are honest enough to admit we do not know one way or another. What I do know is that I find the basics of the FE argument to be worth discussing, and I do know when I read The Word of God without using the lens of what NASA and the high priests of scientism tell us, then that creation account sounds very much like an immovable earthly realm created originally by our God so He could have fellowship with mankind. Unfortunately...we screwed that up, and continue to do so.
As far as Justin Peters goes, Justin has admitted publicly that he lacks discernment and does not believe it to be one of his strengths. Justin also lacks street smarts and tends to make wrong assumptions about anyone who is even slightly critical of what he says or does. Justin also prides himself in his relationship with the current Christian royalty like JMac, The Pirate and others. If Justin were to remove his NASA goggles he might see something and then know something which would cause him to be asked to leave court the current court of Christian royalty. Like Barna said, "it is hard for a Pastor to know something when his entire livelihood is dependent on his NOT knowing that something.
I just listened to Episode 155 with Justin and George....thank you Jim for recommending it, and Justin if you happen to read this, thank you and God bless you my Brother. You presented The Gospel and The Truth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a non-compromising way. If your current pastor does not recognize the gift you have been blessed with and allow you to present the Gospel among your congregation, he is clearly missing a great opportunity.
“Let me support my views by bringing on like minded people”… it’s obvious he cares more about clicks & his ego than he does about the truth. Another bad look for him.
Josh Chavez (Servus Christi) exposed Justin a while back for being untruthful when he gushed over Doreen Virtue. Justin threw a temper tantrum back then as well and made all kind of excuses as to why the facts presented should be dismissed.

George, thank you for the podcast and this site.
