The Moon is a light?

I know Genesis 1:16 states "hen God made two great lights (Or luminaries depending on how you translate the origional text): the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also."

Withh that said, how do we account for half moons, quarter moons, etc. If the moon itself has its own illuminating properties, why at times is it not fully lit? Or if it is fully lit, what is creating the shadow causing us not to be able to see the full moon.

I guess the simple question is, how do we account for moon phases if the moon is itself a light?

I hadn't seen that video but I've heard commentary on it. Interesting to see.

At this juncture I have come to accept the fact that NONE of us KNOW. We speculate, we assume, we guess, sometimes pontificate, debate, and argue. But we don't know.

I also don't think, for a variety of reasons, we will know on this side of life.

I still enjoy the conversations and like watching discussions and debates. And I like to listen to the Flat Earth Files podcast because I enjoy hearing other perspectives. But with that said, my faith and uderstanding will stay rooted in Biblical context and understanding. If I educate myself to the best of my ability in the word of God, I am confiden't I will learn what I need to know while I am here. The rest I can learn when we meet face to face.

The reality is, flat earth is not a salvation issue. I know it has been commented on many times on the podcast that people have come to Christ as a result of researching flat earth, that's awesome. But that does not make flat earth a salvation issue. God uses many things to bring us to him. In fact, the Bible says God shows Himself to His creation and we are without excuse if we reject His revelation in creation. But I digress.

I also know the issue, not being Salvation, is more about our history and "why the lie?" as George so accuratly addressed in the very first episode of this podcast. Our history and those that have written about it just cannot be trusted. Why, because its written by people. Falible humans. Unlike the Bible, history books, letters, tablets, scrolls, etc. are not God breathed. They weren't inspired by God. It was authored by humans who each have their own perspective, opinion, recollection, motivation, etc. regarding what happened.

My point is, I will continue to enjoy the globe vs. flat conversation, investigation, and this podcast :) but I have to take solice in the knowledge that I don't and won't truly know until I pass from this life. The Bible and the study thereof will be the foundation of my knowledge. I truly believe the information within is all I need to KNOW at this time.

There are some that think the moon is a holographic representation of our flat earth. There is a rumble video of this "lost history of the flat earth". I'm not sure if I fully agree, but it's fascinating.

One thing I want to call out is those craters aren't really craters. I saw a video somewhere (forget where) where it states it looks more like bubbles that have popped in some gooey liquid, which I agree. Doesn't make sense per the heliocentric model that it's all perfectly 90 degree hits. Also shouldn't we see new craters? They always tell us asteroids are about the hit the earth!

I think Flat Earth Dave proposed this hypothesis about the sun and moon projacting from the north pole. I don't know what to believe about any of it because the NWO refuses to allow anyone not approved by their agenda to actually see what is up at the center of the earth/around the ring of the earth. We can't know anything for sure until we're allowed to freely go wherever we want.

We can't accurately account for the moon's phases because we can't access the North Pole, where some suggest the moon's light source is.

That's a new one. Well, there has to be a relation, because that is where the centre of the magnetic field is, that's what the sun and moon spin around, magnetic north. Magnetism and electricity go hand in hand.

I'm going to start thinking about north now when I look at the moon. Thanks.

Yea, the video was okay at best but it really didn't help explain anything to me. I had already seen the video of the guy explaining the moon is plasma.

Let's assumme the explination of anode/cathode and charhing/depleting is correct. Why would it do so as a crescent? Why wouldn't it just be a straight line?

When I look at the moon phases for myself with my telescope, it looks like a shadow being cast upon the moon, and not like part of the moon is not being lit from within.

I have also looked for myself during moon phases and have seen the "unlit" parts of the moon. Both in the daytime and at night. Like in the attached video, where he essentially claims the rest of the moon is missing. I have seen this claim before so I waited for a day when it appeared this way and here again, with my telescope I could quite easily see the "missing" part of the moon. With the naked eye yes, it does appear to be missing, but it's been there every time I've looked. Besides, his camera was so shakey I don't know how he expected anyone to see and verify anything.

Anyway, it sure is a fun mystery to explore and I may never know the real answers on this side of Heaven, but I'll certainly keep looking and questioning.

Perhaps make it a matter of prayer! "Father, I really want to know more of Your creation. I'm really curious! If it be Your will, could You provide access for me for a powerful telescope? I want to see these things for myself."

There is some proof of a third object. What causes eclipses? What is Nibiru? Jewish tradition has stories of a third "dark" object. So, that might be it. That could be the shadow, if it is a shadow.

I've had the exact same observations. I can plainly discern crater shadows, especially near the border of light and dark. The light for those shadows is coming from somewhere. And, yes, the dark portion of the moon is not only visible, but I've never personally witnessed it turning transparent.

The analogous demostration where a convex moon is dipped in blue fluid was really intriguing. It's in one of the FE videos. I saw how fluid mimicked the moon phases (waters above.) But there's crater shadows, so I don't know about that one.

A North Star projection is interesting. That would solve a lot of discrepancies. It got me to wondering about God's throne being the shadow on the moon's surface during an eclipse...

Globular disciples don't understand that point, which is the 'experts' can't be trusted. They've shamed themselves too many times with lies and deceit. Now we must go back to the drawing board and reevaluate the world around us. To globers, we're nitwits for questioning the green letters cascading down the screen. Meanwhile, we're wondering why they can't see the dragon in a red dress?

How do we bridge that gap? By doing what you and I and others are doing; we're looking for ourselves. Honestly, we need amatuer rockets that can reach 100+ miles. Loaded with balloons or parachutes and at least four cameras. It should be a steady platform that lingers for 30 minutes or so, then returns to earth.

Amatuers can reach 100 miles already (the footage still shows flat, though wobbly cameras make it difficult to see accurately.) If two rockets get sent up simultaneously. One in northern hemisphere and one in the southern hemisphere. 30 minutes of footage at 200 miles (supposed ISS altitude) from 8 cameras in 2 hemispheres ought to remove all doubt one way or the other. Because the ISS ALWAYS shows curve in it's digital representation of earth, we should see the same if they're not lying. But we already know they're pathologic with their fibbing.

It's an idea. I don't think it'd be too difficult to make happen. I'm not discounting FEDave's work as a speaker, but are any of his monetized/merched out profits going toward scientific research such as the simple plan I laid out above? Maybe I've just never heard about it, but all I'm hearing is talk and watching grainy, shaky videos. We need more evidence for the things we're claiming. Not just podcasts and forums, but real, documented, 4k, witnessed demostrations.

Anyway, does someone have a couple of rockets to spare?

I hope others come and give their two bits! I like responding, and I hate seeing questions go too long without a reply - trying to keep the water flowing in this river.

My understanding Jim is that the moon is somehow "charged". On one point, it is the anode, while the sun is the cathode. There is a charging up to full moon, and then a depleting to new moon. That's the best answer I can give there. The moon is probably the most mysterious of all elements of the creation.

Other important points that support this theory:

- the "lunar wave", first capture by Crow777, and then found by many others

- Professor Forster, who in 1965 was interviewed by an Australian journalist. He confidently pronounced that the moon was plasma.

- moonlight is cold. Objects in moonlight are colder than objects in moonshade

- moonlight putrefies, while sunlight gives life. Historically, people knew to stay away from being under a full moon too long, if at all. Some of this was superstition of course, but where did those beliefs come from? Often they come from facts.

All these points support the notion that the moon charges up and down. A beautiful way to design that part of the Skyclock.

I think these verses disprove the theory that the moon would cause harm. If it is a factual anecdote from history, perhaps it is factual for those who would be subject to the wrath of God. (Read the verses and you'll understand what I mean.)

My wife just asked me about the moon. And I'll be honest, I haven't done anywhere near enough research to give a confident answer. I agree, not a dusty rock. Definitely has something to do with the distance it gets away from the sun.

He also talks about the hidden path of the moon. I believe in reference to where it goes when it completely disappears.

I've never looked at the moon through a telescope, so I can't even speculate exactly what it looks like from first hand view. It definitely looks like a dusty ball, and that's why people so readily accept that definition.

I believe I'm going to start thinking of what the moon can be without actually studying it. Sometimes things can be worked out that way. Like those little pictographs they put under the bottle caps of Lonestar.
